Taylor Swift Responds To Critics Of Her Latest Album

“I’m not the art police”.

Taylor Swift is reacting to criticism from fans who don’t think The Life of a Showgirl lives up to their expectations of pop bangers. She told Zane Lowe she respects fans’ opinions and tries to create music with a lasting impact. She says, “I welcome the chaos. The rule of show business is if it’s the first week of my album release and you are saying either my name or my album title, you’re helping.”

She says even if you can’t relate to her music right now, you might later. “…what I often love seeing my fans say is, ‘I used to be someone who didn’t relate to Reputation.
