Brandy Speaks Out After Abrupt Exit From Her Third Tour Stop With Monica
On only the third night of Brandy and Monica’s “The Boy Is Mine” tour, Brandy abruptly walked off the stage about an hour into their 90 minute concert Friday night in Chicago. It happened during one of Brandy’s solo songs. When the music stopped, all of the arena’s lights came on, which was shocking to the crowd.
Monica had to come out, address the crowd, and assure them she would continue the show. But since they end it with their famous “The Boy Is Mine” duet, it didn’t get performed.
Brandy released a statement on Instagram claiming that she was dehydrated and her team believed her health was more important than her returning to the stage Friday night. She’s 46.
