Flava Flav Signs On For More Olympic ‘Hype Man’ Duties For 2026
Flava Flav made quite a ‘splash’ as the hype man and sponsor of the U.S. Women’s Olympic Water Polo team in 2024, and now he’s planning for more Team USA Olympic hype in 2026!
This time, it’s for the USA Bobsled and Skeleton teams at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina, bringing his high-energy support and financial backing to the athletes. “The partnership is a blessing. It’s cooler than ‘Cool Runnings.’ It’s Coolest Runnings,” Flav said referencing the 1993 movie about the Jamaican bobsled team.

The 66-year-old just had a visit with the teams in Park City, Utah, where he tried bobsledding, bringing speed and his infectious enthusiasm. Flav plans to travel with the team to the Games in February and continues to actively support Olympians beyond just cheering from the sidelines.
