Former “Eras Tour” Dancer Jan Ravnik Responds To ‘DWTS’ Critics
Former “Dancing with the Stars” pros Maks Chmerkovskiy and wife Peta recently made comments on their podcast that Jan Ravnik’s hiring as a ballroom pro this season was “absurd.” They commented that his lack of formal training in ballroom dance techniques is putting Ravnik’s celebrity partner, ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Jen Affleck, at a disadvantage on this season of ‘DWTS.’
They responded to that criticism after the Halloween Night performance, after which they were eliminated. Ravnik said he had “no comment” on that but would not listen to the “hate from someone trying to stay relevant.” They performed to a Taylor Swift song, which was fitting as he was her backup dancer on the “Eras Tour.”
