From Fan To Fellow Icon: Chappell Roan Inducts Cyndi Lauper
Chappell Roan has the pleasure of inducting Cyndi Lauper into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame coming up on Saturday, November 8 at 8pm ET on Disney Plus. Chappell shared in a video that she once auditioned for America’s Got Talent when she was 13 years old with Cyndi’s song “True Colors.”
Cyndi was already an admirer of Chappell’s, too. A year ago, she appeared on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” where she complimented Chappell’s performance style,
I think she’s great because — the hair alone. C’mon. And the fact that it’s performance art. And it’s visual, it’s so visual. And you know I love those visual things, obviously.
