Louisvillian Will Smith Crushes Go Ahead Home Run In World Series
The L.A. Dodgers are now back-to-back World Series winners thanks in large part to a KCD and U of L alum, Will Smith! He crushed the decisive home run that helped the Dodgers win in the 11th inning of Game 7, 5-4. And he did it after catching every inning of every game!
The win gives Smith his third World Series win with the Dodgers! Some fun facts about Smith: he grew up playing in the St. Matthews Little League and attended Kentucky Country Day High School. He went on to play for U of L and was drafted by the Dodger in the first round of the 2016 MLB Draft.
