Nate Bargatze To Host New Game Show “The Greatest Average American”
ABC is turning a Nate Bargatze special into a game show! The Greatest Average American will challenge contestants to “guess how everyday Americans think and live” through trivia questions and challenges. Winners receive $67,920 in cash, matching the average annual U.S. salary.
The show shares its title with Bargatze’s 2021 Netflix special. It will air Wednesdays at 9 p.m., following the Scrubs revival premiere. Bargatze is currently the world’s highest-earning touring comedian with over one million tickets sold in 2024, will also executive produce the show.
It premieres February 25th.
