Mega Millions Approaches $1 Billion Again
The Mega Millions jackpot climbed to an estimated $965 million for Friday’s drawing after no ticket matched all six numbers Tuesday night. If the prize surpasses $1 billion, it would mark only the eighth time in game history the jackpot reached 10-figure territory.
Players face odds of approximately one in 290 million to win the top prize. The previous billion-dollar jackpot occurred last December at $1.269 billion.
