Ed Sheeran Talks About The Complexity Of His New Concert Special

Ed Sheeran sat in a cab in New York on the Today show for some insider info on how he pulled off his new Netflix concert special, “One Shot With Ed Sheeran”. He got the idea the idea after watching “Adolescence”, which was filmed with one continuous shot for each episode. Sheeran reached out to the team behind that show and pitched that style idea to filming his journey to a concert venue.

He says they had 65 minutes on the SD Card and had to get it all in…one take and one continuous shot making their way through rush hour in New York City. Whomever happened to be along his rehearsed path when they filmed it ended up in the special! Sheeran says he thinks “by far it’s been the best thing I’ve been involved with in my career.”

He also talked about his tour starting next June in the U.S.! “One Shot with Ed Sheeran” is now streaming on Netflix!
