Ed Sheeran On Catching Up With Taylor And How He Posts On Socials Without A Phone
While doing press for his Netflix special, “One Shot with Ed Sheeran”, he dove into his life unplugged. While speaking to Access Hollywood, the story Taylor Swift told about forgetting to tell Ed when she got engaged because he doesn’t have a phone came up. He saw her a week later and had a 4-hour “catch up” session and wasn’t upset he didn’t get the head’s up. “I’m not self-conscious about my relationship with her, we’ve been friends for a very, very many years…we’re super close and we see each other when we see each other. We lock back in to where we left off.”
As for how he still manages to post and comment on social media, his management team helps with that. He has a laptop and his team sends him things and he comments without having to be “chronically online” all the time. He says not having a phone or iPad allows him to stay connected more with face to face interactions.
