Kendrick Lamar Leads Crowd In ‘Happy Birthday’ To Young Fan
During his recent Spilt Milk festival performance in Australia, Kendrick Lamar made an unforgettable moment for a young fan at her first concert! He paused his show to sing “Happy Birthday” to 9-year-old fan Kalina Fowler, who had been shouting about her birthday from atop her grandfather’s shoulders.
A fan in the crowd caught the moment on video, with Lamar leading the crowd in singing before gifting Kalina a signed hat, which she treasures as “priceless” and vows to “keep it for the rest of my life.” She said, “It was the funnest time ever — my first ever concert.”
It’s been a good year for Lamar who headlined the Super Bowl Halftime Show, won five Grammys, completed a record-breaking Grand National Tour with SZA, and earned nine Grammy nominations ahead of the 2026 ceremony.
