Some creators regret not dancing on TikTok sooner, but sometimes all it takes to becoming a millionaire online is posting a 10-hour looped video of your burning fireplace to YouTube. According to OddityCentral, “Fireplace 10 hours full HD” is a monetized video and has probably earned the creator who posted it back in 2016 over $1 million.
The video has been viewed over 157 million times — likely all those times people wanted to give their spaces a cozier feel during the holidays. That means they’re earning ad revenue when you pull it up!
“Fireplace 10 hours full HD” is the only video on the channel itself and that’s where OddityCentral points out there is debate around the fact that there is a current rule on YouTube that a creator must have uploaded at least three videos to be considered for monetization. However, this video would have been grandfathered in before that rule, which started in 2023, was put into place.
While you should always think before you post something online, consider that you may be overthinking too. You might be in the way of something very simple making you a LOT of money!
