Blake Lively And Taylor Swift’s Text Messages Revealed In “It Ends With Us” Lawsuit
As if there weren’t enough drama to come out of the lawsuit battle Blake Lively launched against her director and co-star from “It Ends With Us”, now Taylor Swift is getting exposed in her texts to her former bestie.
There is some serious “mean girl” energy that won’t help Lively’s claims that she was sexually harassed on the set and that Baldoni launched a smear campaign during the movie’s promotion. But these unredacted texts seems to reveal the opposite. Swift texted Lively before the New York Times article laying out her accusations hit newsstands December 20th (2024), texting on December 4th and 5th: “I think this b**** knows something is coming because he’s gotten out his tiny violin.” That was the article that launched it all.
Lively refers to Baldoni as her “doofus director” and a “clown” when asking Swift to endorse her rewrite of the script, saying she didn’t have to “actually read it”. Swift texted back, per court documents, “I’ll do anything for you !!” Lively later texted Swift back: “You were so epically heroic today. I recapped every moment to Ryan. I kept remembering stuff—You making s–t up about me and lenses. And referring to yourself as my doll. This clown falling for all of it. But also resisting it. You are the world’s absolute greatest friend ever.”
There is WAYYYY more with other major Hollywood names getting drug into it like Matt Damon, Lucy Damon, Bradley Cooper and Ben Affleck asking them all to support her rewrites. According to the documents, Lively told them she “rewrote the script. I directed every actor.” She described Baldoni to Affleck as a “chaotic clown.”
Swift has always denied having ANYTHING to do with the movie, but the documents suggest otherwise. As for using her song in the trailer, Swift texted Lively: “If Justin was strategic, he would be like no Taylor swift in the trailer. Because that gives you more power over the film. That’s your ally not his.” To which Lively responds “You are so right…he should have run from your music…How stupid. This was his only shot at the appearance of an upper hand.”
