David Beckham Seemingly Responds To His Son’s Claims Of Their Family Feud
Brooklyn Beckham, the 26-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham, posted a lengthy and scathing statement on his Instagram stories detailing the basis and incidents that caused their rift. Now David seems to be responding.
Brooklyn accused his parents of “controlling” him for “most of his life” and trying “endlessly to ruin” his marriage to Nicola Peltz. Speaking on CNBC’s Squawk Box, Beckham didn’t directly mention Brooklyn’s allegations but discussed educating children about social media use. “They make mistakes. Children are allowed to make mistakes. That’s how they learn,” he said.
Brooklyn claimed his parents fed “lies” to media about him and Peltz, calling their relationship “inauthentic” with “performative social media posts.” He wrote: “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.” Beckham representatives declined comment.
