Paris Hilton Credit Demi Lovato For Inspiring Documentary
Paris Hilton’s new documentary “Infinite Icon: A Visual Memoir” will release exclusively in theaters in January 30 and she’s thanking her friend Demi Lovato for giving her the courage to be honest on screen.
Demi has given viewers a look behind the curtain more than once. In 2012, it was “Demi Lovato: Stay Strong.” “Demi Lovato” Simply Complicated was released in 2017. And 2021 brought “Demi Lovato: Dancing with the Devil.” She’s been outspoken about her experiences navigating mental health, addiction, and recovery. Most recently Demi appeared in “Child Star” on Hulu with other big names to talk about what it was like to grow up in the spotlight.
After seeing Demi’s work, Paris was inspired and even gave her kudos at the premiere of her own. She made a speech saying,
Thank you to Demi. I love you so much. When you invited me to your documentary years ago, it was the first time I’d seen someone really being real and vulnerable. And I was so inspired and it made me feel safe that I can tell my truth as well. So thank you for inspiring me on this amazing journey and I love you so much, my sister for life.
