Sydney Sweeney Might Face Charges Over…Bras?
Sydney Sweeney may face trespassing and vandalism charges after hanging bras on the Hollywood Sign. The stunt was meant to be a cute promotional campaign for her lingerie line. While she did a permit from FilmLA to shoot on location, she reportedly did NOT receive approval from the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which owns the Hollywood Sign and its intellectual property.
The Hollywood Sign is not open to the public, making unauthorized access a potential criminal matter. And well, Sweeney and a production crew climbed the sign last week and strung bras from it, filming the whole thing.
In a letter dated January 23rd, the Chamber informed Persuasion Pictures that no license was granted for the shoot. Oopsies.
