PETA Slams Sabrina Carpenter For Using a Live Dove For Her Grammys Performance
PETA condemned Sabrina Carpenter after the singer used a live white dove during her Grammys 2026 performance Sunday night in Los Angeles.
The 26-year-old performer concluded her “Manchild” set by holding the bird while elevated on a silver airplane prop at Crypto.com Arena. “Did Sabrina Carpenter really just bring a bird on stage in 2026?! The Manchild singer is giving childlike behavior. Leave animals out of the #GRAMMYs,” PETA posted on social media.
The organization pointed to “bright lights, loud noise, and handling” causing “fear and distress for a bird who belongs flying free in the open sky.”
Carpenter hasn’t responded.
