There is SO MUCH BACKSTORY to Taylor Swift’s “Opalite” music video.
It starts during promotion of “The Life of a Showgirl” and her appearance on “The Graham Norton Show” in October of last year. Actor Domhnall Gleeson was also a guest along with Greta Lee, Cillian Murphy, and Jodie Turner-Smith. Gleeson said on the show “I’m just trying to get in a Taylor Swift music video.” Ask and you shall receive! In fact, all of her castmates and Norton himself show up in the video!
Other Easter Eggs to look out for include Lewis Capaldi and even Taylor’s brother in the background. There may have been a hint at the next single from the George Michael poster in the room, and a nod to her upcoming wedding to Travis Kelce!
