Designer Erin Fetherston shared they were all still holding on to hope for a miracle in the final days, and pointed out how much positivity and selflessness James displayed during his journey.
A GoFundMe was set up to assist the family recover from the mountains of medical bills he incurred, and has surpassed $2.1 million. He had insurance but also ended up auctioning much of his Hollywood memorabilia and merch to help cover the costs. Steven Spielberg and wife Kate Capshaw donated $25,000 while Zoe Saldana was among those that pledged monthly donations to help sustain his widow and their six kids.
