A Wolfdog Steals The Spotlight During Olympic Cross-Country Skiing
A large dog got cheers from the crowd when it ran on the track during women’s cross-country and ran across the finish line. The commentators’ were pretty tickled at it, and even did a slow-motion replay of the finish!
It sniffed the butt of one of the finishers. It’s a Czechoslovakian wolfdog named Nazgul. He lives nearby, and his owners said he escaped from their house when they were leaving. Sweden’s Maja Dahlqvist ultimately won the race alongside teammate Jonna Sundling, while Nazgul came in third LOL!
