Nick Reiner Pleads ‘Not Guilty’ In The Murders Of His Parents
Nick Reiner entered not guilty pleas Monday to murder charges in the stabbing deaths of his parents, filmmaker Rob Reiner and Michele Reiner.
The 32-year-old appeared in Los Angeles Superior Court wearing a brown jumpsuit with a shaved head, speaking only to agree to an April 29th court date. He faces two murder counts with enhancements that could result in the death penalty or life imprisonment without parole.
His parents were discovered stabbed to death in their Brentwood home December 14th, after attending a party at Conan O’Brien’s house. Nick had caused a scene at the party and was arrested the evening his sister found the bodies. Nick has discussed his lengthy struggle with drug addiction, attending 18 rehab facilities between ages 15 and 19.
