Savannah Guthrie and Family Offering $1 Million Reward To Find Missing Mother
Today show co-host Savannah Guthrie is offering a reward of up to $1 million for information that leads to the recovery of her mother, 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie. She was abducted from her home February 1, and the family is urging anyone with knowledge to call 1-800-CALL-FBI or come forward anonymously. Guthrie said they are “blowing on the embers of hope”.
The family says the reward will be paid only upon recovery, consistent with FBI criteria in the case. Guthrie acknowledges in the latest video plea that their mother may “be in Heaven”, but they just “have to know” where she is. The family is also donating $500,000 to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, to support other families.
