“Scream 7” Wins Big At The Box Office Despite Bad Reviews From Critics
The seventh Scream installment exceeded industry projections, earning $64.1 million in domestic theaters and $33.1 million internationally for a combined worldwide debut of $97.2 million.
The latest movie features a fresh Ghostface antagonist going after the daughter of Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell). Critics with Rotten Tomatoes gave it a series-worst 33 percent score, but the RT audience score is a good-enough 78 percent (studios generally want to see 80 percent and above).
