The Internet Thinks This Was NOT Jim Carrey
There has been so much hubbub on the Internet after Jim Carrey showed up in Paris to receive an award looking DRASTICALLY different, the assumption has been that was NOT the real Jim.
Many point to the lighter eye color, fuller face, longer hair, voice difference and mannerisms that didn’t look or sound like the Jim Carrey we all know. But his rep is entering the char along with César Awards executives to shoot the “replacement” theories down. The rumors started after artist Alexis Stone posted Instagram images suggesting he impersonated Carrey, showing prosthetics and ceremony photos. But a rep for the César Awards said the visit was planned since summer with “eight months of ongoing, constructive discussions.”
They said Carrey “worked on his speech in French for months, asking me about the exact pronunciation of certain words.” The 64-year-old actor attended with his partner, daughter, grandson, and twelve family members. One of the clips that really made people talk was this:
