Britney Spears Arrested For DUI
Britney Spears was arrested for DUI after driving erratically and speeding in California on the evening of March 4th. She was giving a series of field sobriety tests and showed signs of influence from drugs and alcohol. A rep for Spears told E! News, “This was an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable,” “Hopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time.”
Ex-husband Sam Asghari said on NewsNation March 6: “Everybody makes mistakes and everybody deserves privacy,” “If we learn from history, we have to understand the press could hurt somebody recovering from a situation like this.” ‘
Her court date in May 4th.
