Teens Test Out Different Ways To Curb Screen Time
It’s shocking how much time the average teen can waste scrolling on their phones. So CBS Mornings recruited three teens in New Jersey to test out different methods to cut down that time.
One used Brick, which blocks apps with a physical barrier. Another tried the free app, Screen Zen, which asks you to wait before you start scrolling. And the third used gray scale to take the color out of everything. They tried those methods for 7 days, and one of the kids took his time down to 20 minutes a day!
All reported feeling happier, they engaged more with family, did more activities and reported better sleep. Have you tried a way to cut down your screen time?
