What We Know About The “KPop Demon Hunters” Sequel
Netflix understood the assignment after the MASSIVE success of ‘KPop Demon Hunters’, which is nominated for two Oscars. Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans are returning to write and direct saying, “There’s so much more to this world we have built, and I’m excited to show you. This is only the beginning.” Chris added, “These characters are like family to us, their world has become our second home. We’re excited to write their next chapter, challenge them, and watch them evolve—and continue pushing the boundaries of how music, animation, and story can come together.”
No word on when to expect the sequel to hit the platform, but the original has racked up 500 million views since its June 2025 debut.
