Police Bodycam Footage of Justin Timberlake’s DWI Arrest Released
The video Justin Timberlake’s legal team tried to prevent being released to the public is out. Dated June 18th, 2024 in Sag Habor, New York, the footage shows Timberlake’s conversation where he struggled to explain why he’s in town. He tells the officer he’s “on a world tour”, to which the officer asked for what, and Timberlake says “it’s hard to explain…I’m Justin Timberlake.”
He failed a series of field sobriety tests and refused the breathalyzer. There is a female friend of Timberlake’s who is in the footage begging for police to “please do my a favor because you loved ‘Bye Bye Bye’ or ‘Sexyback’ like DO ME ONE FAVOR”. Plus, the body cam additionally showed the interaction inside the station. He did thank the officers for doing their job at one point, but did not like the fact he had to stay in a cell overnight: “I’m being held all night? You guys are wild man.”
