The Duffer Brothers Next Series Is “The Boroughs”
The brothers behind “Stranger Things” are rolling out a new series on Netflix called “The Boroughs”.
It looks kinda like “Stranger Things”, but with old people in a retirement community. The show’s official logline describes it: “In a seemingly perfect retirement community, a grieving newcomer’s monstrous encounter inspires him to join a misfit crew of unlikely heroes who uncover a dark secret that proves their ‘golden years’ are more dangerous, and they are more formidable than anyone expects.”
It hits Netflix on May 21st and stars Alfred Molina, Alfre Woodard, Denis O’Hare, Geena Davis, and Bill Pullman.
