Ashley Tisdale Texted Meghan Trainor After “Toxic Mom Group” Drama

Ashley Tisdale set off a firestorm of drama with a viral essay in ‘The Cut’ saying she had to leave a “toxic mom group” that many speculated to include Meghan Trainor, Hilary Duff and Mandy Moore. Meghan playfully on socials denied any involvement, and now reveals Ashley reached out after that.

In an April 18 interview with Us Weekly, Meghan said Ashley reached out apologizing for her name being pulled into the speculation. Meghan called the situation a misunderstanding and just said, “It’s all right, girl. The world is a silly, crazy place, and they just want something to talk about.” Moore never addressed it publicly but Duff’s husband seemed to send some daggers seemingly referring to Tisdale as the ‘most self obsessed tone deaf person on Earth.’
