More Details Into The Settlement Between Blake Lively And Justin Baldoni
Team Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, is making the rounds discussing the settlement between Justin Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios and Blake Lively. When asked about the terms (money) involved, Freedman couldn’t discuss that per se, but alluded to just legal fees that were estimated to be in the neighborhood of $60 million.
Kevin Frazier from ‘Entertainment Tonight’ also asked about the timing of the settlement being reached and Lively then attending the Met Gala, and whether Lively’s high-profile friends were upset at being dragged into the lengthy battle. He also pointed out once the summary judgement was handed down dismissing 10 of Lively’s 13 claims (including the sexual harassment and toxic work environment claims), Baldoni wasn’t even a defendant anymore. So the much smaller case involving the smear campaign claims was much smaller.
