Blake Lively Now Wants Justin Baldoni To Pay Damages In Their “Settlement”
“It Ends With…” well it’s never going to end apparently. Despite both Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s Wayfarer parties walking away with no money exchange, now Lively is demanding damages and lawyers fees. Her lawyer, Sigrid McCawley, says her client believes she entitled to damages stemming from Baldoni’s $400 defamation countersuit he filed that was dismissed last year. She’s also doubling down on labeling Baldoni a sexual harasser, claims that were tossed from her claims against him.
Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, responded by saying “I think it’s impossible for Ms. Lively to take responsibility for any part of her actions.” When asked about his client still being labeled a sexual harasser, Freedman said not only was every claim involving that denied and dismissed in summary judgement motion, but every individual defendant (including Justin Baldoni) was dismissed from the case. Freedman says he’s never in his career working with high-profile clients seen someone lose 10 of 13 claims in a case and “claim victory on social media”. But the worst part of the whole ordeal Freedman says for his client, is the domestic abuse survivors whom they made “It Ends With Us” for got lost in all of this.
