Taylor Swift Responds To A Lawsuit Over Her Latest Album Name
Maren Flagg sued Taylor Swift in March, claiming her “The Life of a Showgirl” album infringes upon her 2015 trademark of the phrase “Confessions of a Showgirl.” Now Swift’s lawyers are responding calling the lawsuit “absurd.”
Swift’s lawyers hit back pretty harshly with a response that Flagg was using Swift and the lawsuit to boost her own brand. Team Swift claims there is no confusion over the album, merchandise or live shows.
