Kelly Clarkson Emotional Over the End Of Her Talk Show
It’s not goodbye, it’s just a pivot to other things.
Rita Wilson brought Kelly Clarkson to tears as they reflected on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ coming to an end this fall after seven seasons. Rita complimented Clarkson on the mark she made on daytime TV: “I want to thank you for the years that you’ve been doing your show. I want to thank you for literally changing the game when it came to daytime television.”
She reassured fans she’s not disappearing from the spotlight, and is returning as a coach for ‘The Voice’ season 30. The decision to leave the daily show was rooted in needing to be present more for her kids, especially after the loss of their dad (ex-husband Brandon Blackstock).
