Peabo Bryson Passes Away at 75
Grammy winning vocalist Peabo Bryson died yesterday. He was 75. His death comes days after family had shared that he had suffered from a stroke. “He transitioned peacefully at 5:00 p.m. ET on the evening of Tuesday, June 2, 2026,” his family said in a statement to Variety, “surrounded by the love of his family and those closest to him.”
Bryson was best know for iconic Disney duets with Regina Belle (“A Whole New World” from “Aladdin” and “Beauty and the Beast” with Celine Dion.)
Peabo had suffered a stroke three days before.
