Blake Lively Wants Justin Baldoni To Pay Over $8 Million In Legal Fees
The “It Ends With Us” legal war is still raging on, now with Blake Lively believing she’s entitled to over $8 million in legal fees from Justin Baldoni.
In a filing Monday in New York, Lively says she needs $7,495,526.87 in attorneys’ fees and $539,514.01 in litigation costs and expenses from Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios. Team Lively said that was to cover the now-dismissed $400 million defamation countersuit Baldoni filed in response to her lawsuit against him.
Her attorneys argued the award would deter future retaliatory suits against accusers. Baldoni’s attorney Bryan Freedman dismissed the fee request, saying Lively “failed” in her broader legal efforts. Baldoni’s team will have an opportunity to respond before any sum is formally awarded or denied.
