Disney’s Live-Action “Moana” Hits Theaters
Disney’s live-action remake is now in theaters starring Dwayne Johnson back as “Maui” and Catherine Laga’aia as “Moana”. But critics who have seen it already are calling it a “downgrade” from the original. Biggest critique? That’s there’s still a ton of CGI animation to stay true to the original, and the live actor’s performances fall flat compared to the original.
