Justin Baldoni Responds To Blake Lively’s Request For Legal Fees
Justin Baldoni’s legal team filed paperwork in response to Blake Lively’s request for him to pay $8 million in legal fees in the wake of their nearly two year legal battle stemming from their movie, “It Ends With Us”. The filing called the amount “so over-inclusive that it sweeps in fees for researching her own liability for perjury arising from her California CRD claim and her rule 11 motion for which the court as already denied fees.”
According to People, the response also states their case was “overstaffed” with 7,070.20 billable hours billed by 82 timekeepers—which, according to the filing, is about 20 times what courts have previously approved in comparable high-profile defamation cases.
Baldoni and wife Emily recently spoke out for the first time since this saga started on social media saying they are “healing” from the “trauma’ their family has been put through.
