More Of Brad Pitt’s Kids Move To Remove His Name From Theirs

Zahara Jolie-Pitt is latest of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s kids that is making moves to drop the Pitt from her name. As part of the legal process, Zahara published notice of her petition in the Los Angeles Daily Journal, a requirement under California law. The notice must run for four consecutive weeks before a court can finalize a legal name change, giving anyone who wishes to object an opportunity to file a written opposition. Zahara previously filed paperwork seeking to change her legal name from Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt to Zahara Marley Jolie. The filing came just weeks before she graduated from Spelman College with a degree in psychology. 24-year-old Maddox is doing the same thing, and didn’t use Pitt in the credits to his mom’s recent movie “Couture”.
In 2024, her sister Shiloh legally dropped “Pitt” from her surname as well.
