Sylvester Stallone’s Biopic Has PERFECTLY Cast The Lead
The trailer for a new movie about Sylvester Stallone’s fight to play the starring role of his script “Rocky” dropped yesterday. The actor portraying him, Anthony Ippolito, has Sly’s mannerisms and voice down PERFECTLY.
Stallone famously wrote the movie himself and demanded to lead in the starring role, after working in Hollywood for roughly seven years. The movie was an instant hit and won Best Picture, Best Director and Best Film Editing at the 1977 Oscars. Stallone is not involved in this movie, but is releasing a memoir called “The Steps” in September.
“I Play Rocky” opens in theaters this November.
