Hilary Duff Brings Out Ex-Boyfriend Joel Madden At MSG Show
It’s not every day you get to sing on stage with your ex! Hilary Duff brought Joel Madden and his twin brother Benji with their band, Good Charlotte, during her Madison Square Garden show in New York City on her “Lucky Me” tour. They performed their 2003 hit, ‘The Anthem.’
The backstory on Hilary and Joel is that they started dating in 2004 when she was 16 and he was 25, but by 2006, they went their separate ways. Over a decade later, they’re neighbors and close friends, who hang out with their spouses, Matthew Koma and Nicole Richie.
