Dane Cook Details How His Half-Brother Swindled $12 Million From Him
A new documentary is getting into the drama behind Dane Cook’s half-brother stealing $12 million from him. Half-brother and former manager Daryl McCaulery hid the cash in the pasta sauce. In the trailer for “Funny Money: The Dane Cook Story,” Dane said, “A person that spent so much time pretending to be something he wasn’t.”
Daryl ultimately pleaded guilty and spent six years in jail for embezzlement, larceny and other charges. “Funny Money: The Dane Cook Story” streams Sept 29, 2026 on AppleTV, Google, Fandango At Home, iNDemand, Dish Network, Sling TV and Direct TV.
