Taylor Swift Pitches In $50,000 For Mom Injured Helping Another Person
Connecticut mom Ashley Taunton was unfortunately hit by a car while selflessly helping someone who had been in an accident. When Taylor Swift heard about the story and the fundraiser that had been set up for Taunton, she pitched in $50,000. Taunton is facing “a very long and difficult road to recovery”, according to the GoFundMe.
Taunton is sharing her story on Instagram @3littlelambshomestead, writing about what happened. “I can still remember the vehicle hurtling down the grass toward us. I remember pushing a teenager out of the way and praying I would get out of the way too, that didnt happen. There was a huge smash, searing pain and the slow realization that I wasn’t going to get up from this one. Every moment since has been nothing short of miraculous!”
