Beyonce’s Foundation Pitches In $200,000 For Indiana Flood Relief
Beyoncé’s BeyGOOD Foundation is committing $200,000 to support victims of the recent Indiana flooding. The funds will be split between two on-the-ground organizations, City Life Center and Angel by Nature, both actively assisting affected residents.
The flooding, triggered by heavy rainfall and thunderstorms on August 11, has claimed at least seven lives, left over 1,000 people homeless, and knocked out power for more than one million residents.
Governor Mike Braun has declared a statewide disaster. The hardest-hit areas include the city of Gary. Both recipient organizations are providing food, household supplies, and other essential resources to displaced residents.
