Couple Credits Metallica For Saving Their Lives
Saying that someone’s music “saved” you is kind of a cliché. But one family can literally say that Metallica saved them. A couple in Virginia went to bed early on May 6th because they were supposed to drive their 14-year-old daughter to see Metallica the next night. She was introduced to the band watching an episode of “Stranger Things” season 4 that incorporated their song, “Master of Puppets”.
Had they stayed up to watch TV like normal on the couch, they would have been hit by a truck that plowed through their living room that night! They didn’t get to the show after all, but their plan to be there is what they say saved their lives!
A Virginia family credits Metallica with saving their lives. The McKees had tickets for the band’s May 7 show in Blacksburg, VA, and decided to go to bed early, just hours before a car crashed through their living room.
