Parrot With A Pottymouth Finds A Home
A potty-mouthed parrot in Massachusetts is in the news because he won’t stop swearing, but a ton of people want him anyway. And his vocabulary of swears is pretty impressive. They believe Hendrix is around 30 years old, and was with his previous owner for 20 years. His species could live for a 100 years.
More than 50 people from all over the U.S. and Canada have filled out forms to adopt. Chantelle Rogers at Forever Paws Animal Shelter says they try not to encourage that language, but have to step out of the room to laugh sometimes! She says you’re basically “adopting Samuel L. Jackson” with Hendrix.
A woman in southern Maine has been selected as his new owner and she promises to take great care of him!
