Kid Starts Charity To Play Music For Shelter Dogs
A 12-year-old kid named Yuvi Agarwal in Houston goes to animal shelters and plays music for dogs. He got the idea after noticing when he played music at home, it calmed down their golden doodle, Bozo. So in 2023 with the help of his parents, he started a charity called Wild Tunes.
In one case he remembered a rescue dog named Penelope that refused to come out of her kennel in Houston to be fed.“Within a short period of me playing, she went from not even coming out of her kennel to licking me all over my face and nibbling my ears.”
So far he has enlisted about 100 volunteer musicians and singers of all ages to perform at nine shelters in Houston, New Jersey and Denver.
