Four Brothers Save Toddlers From A Roof
Four brothers in Detroit are heroes after rescuing two toddlers from a dangerous situation on a neighbor’s roof.
Isaiah and Elijah Christopher spotted the children while walking to a store and quickly realized they were in danger. The kids who were crawling on the roof were one and two years old. They got older brothers Calvin and Jabari Jackson to help. Calvin held the ladder steady while Jabari, who climbed onto the roof despite being scared of heights, described the moment.
“I was really scared at first, but I just balled it (my fears) and threw it out the window so I can get this kid safe.” He got them safely back inside the window and they knocked on the door and window, but no adults answered.
The Detroit fire and police departments commended the brothers for their bravery.
