The owner was a Vietnam vet who was confined to a wheelchair. During his regular postal route, Ian got to know Floyd and his owner. Floyd was a service animal and super friendly and it became one of his favorite stops. However, a year and a half ago, his route changed. So when he heard the owner had passed, he was first in line at the shelter to be Floyd’s new human!
