Two-Legged Rescue Chihuhua Senses Owner’s Heart Attack Before It Happened

A two-legged Chihuahua named Champ saved his owner’s life by sensing a potentially fatal heart attack before his owner felt chest pains. And it’s not the first time he has saved 63-year-old Andrew Kuzyk’s life!

Kuzyk says, “I was just watching TV when Champ came up to me. “He hugged my chest right about where my heart is and made a whine I’ve never heard him utter before. Shortly after that, I started having chest pains.”

Having had a minor heart attack before, he took that feeling seriously, and his wife called for help. He ended up needing emergency surgery due to a blockage his doctor told him was so bad, he’d never seen anything like that in his career!

Champ also detected Kuzyk’s brain cancer as well. In fact, two years ago Champ and Andrew were featured on the news when dog pet company Chewy gifted Champ with a special wheelchair! Champ is actually one of six rescues Kuzyk and his wife, Pamela, have…most with special needs.

Despite his health challenges, Kuzyk leans on his wife, Pamela, his faith and his beloved Champ! “I think for some strange reason, during all my cancers, the Lord wants me to be on this earth,” “I love him with all my heart. He’s just incredible. Whenever people see him, they immediately fall in love with him.”
